Real-time in-situ monitoring for proactive process control and environmental safety.
From oil-in-water detection with fluorescence probes to continuous H₂S monitoring in corrosive environments, Norditec offers the analytical precision required for wastewater, biogas, and industrial applications.
Robust sensor for harsh conditions
Water quality monitoring should not be limited by the environment. Our sensor portfolio, including the BlueTrace Oil-in-Water probe and the SulfiLogger™ H₂S sensor, is built for the most demanding Norwegian industries. These sensors are designed to withstand high pressure and corrosive media, providing uninterrupted trend analysis for early leak detection and odor control. Whether you need a modular multi-sensor head (MSH) for scrubbers or specialized monitors for chlorine and aluminum, we deliver stable and low-maintenance solutions.
In-situ water analysis
The ISA spectrometer is not limited to a single measurement unit. Through site-specific calibration and selection of precise wavelengths, a single system can monitor a wide range of critical water quality indicators simultaneously.
Oil in water
BlueTrace – oil-in-water sensor is a compact fluorescence probe for measuring BTEX, PAH, and refined oil in water. The robust design of the BlueTrace sensor allows for use under harsh conditions, such as corrosive media or high pressure.
Multi-sensor
The Multi-Sensor Head (MSH) is a modular probe that allows for the integration of up to four sensors or electrodes into a submersible probe head. In one possible configuration, conductivity, temperature, redox, pH, and oxygen can be determined with a single MSH.
Inline water analysis monitors
No single method fits all water types. Our monitors use a wide range of laboratory-grade techniques adapted for continuous inline use. From colorimetry and titrimetry to advanced UV/IR spectrometry, we offer the specific method required for your target parameter and range.
Chlorine
Chlorine added to water in its elemental or hypochlorite form first undergoes hydrolysis to form free available chlorine consisting of aqueous molecular chlorine (Cl2), hypochlorous acid (HClO), and the hypochlorite ion (ClO-). Free chlorine reacts readily with ammonia and certain nitrogenous compounds to form combined available chlorine. Both free and combined chlorine can be present simultaneously and are referred to as total chlorine.
Aluminum
Remote water flow meters provide precise real-time measurement of water consumption in pipelines, specifically developed for installation at a distance from the monitoring point. These systems are essential for industrial billing, commercial resource management, and residential leak detection, enabling rapid repairs to prevent water damage.
SulfiLogger™ H2S sensor
H2S is the primary cause of concrete and metal corrosion in wastewater and industrial systems. By providing continuous data, SulfiLogger™ allows operators to optimize chemical dosing (such as iron salts or nitrates) in real time. This not only protects infrastructure worth millions of dollars but also significantly reduces chemical waste and operating costs.
