- Differential Pressure (Dp) Up to 40 bar
- Temperature Range Up to 350 °C
- Viscosity Range 1 to 100,000 cSt
- Inlet/Outlet Inline Ports
- Capacity: Up to 1000 m³/h
Operating Pressure: Up to 40 bar
Features and Benefits
Standard API 676 Long and trouble-free service life due to the absence of metal-to-metal contact between pumping elements. It can even run dry for a limited period. No axial thrust Double fluid flow in opposite directions balances axial thrust. Higher volumetric efficiency due to the special double profile of the screw flanks. High cavitation-free suction lift due to low NPSH (R). Broader compliance with API 676, 2nd Edition.
Self-priming and capable of handling entrained air/vapor/gas due to positive displacement action and inherent self-priming capability. Smooth metered flow As a positive displacement pump, the head is independent of speed, and capacity is approximately proportional to speed. Capable of handling a wide range of fluids, lubricating/non-lubricating as well as aggressive fluids can be handled due to the selection of various designs and materials of construction.
Safe to operate, it has a built-in pressure relief valve, designed to bypass up to 100% capacity.
Primary Industrial Applications
- Oil and Gas: Transfer of mineral oils, hydrocarbons, and bitumen.
- Energy: Handling of diathermic oil and fuel oils (HFO and LFO).
- Food and Cosmetics: Processing of soaps, creams, and food products.
- Aggressive Media: Capable of handling both lubricating and non-lubricating aggressive fluids through specialized material selection.
Key Design Components
- Synchronized Gearbox: Ensures precise timing of the screw profiles.
- Spherical Ball Bearings: Provide robust support for high-load operations.
- Interchangeable Wear Parts: Designed for easy maintenance and extended equipment life.
- Standard Foot Mounting: Simplifies integration into existing plant infrastructure.
Technical Features and Benefits
These twin screw pumps are engineered for a long and trouble-free service life. By utilizing internal bearings lubricated by the pumped medium, the system remains compact and highly efficient.
- No Metal-to-Metal Contact: The absence of contact between pumping elements minimizes wear and allows for limited dry-running periods.
- Balanced Axial Pressure: The dual-flow design moves fluid in opposite directions, naturally balancing axial pressure for smoother operation.
- High Volumetric Efficiency: The special double profile of the screw flanks ensures maximum performance and a smooth, metered flow.
- Superior Suction Capability: Self-priming with low NPSH requirements, enabling it to handle entrained air, vapor, or gas without cavitation.
