Magnetic flow meter

Vortex flow meter
A fluid flowing at a certain velocity and passing a fixed obstacle forms vortices. The formation of these vortices is called Karman vortices. The frequency of vortex shedding is a direct linear function of the fluid velocity, and the frequency depends on the bluff body's shape and frontal width.
