Designed around the patented GSD (Global Security Device) diaphragm liquid end, the PRIMEROY K (PKG) is one of the most compact and reliable industrial metering pumps in its class. The plate-less technology allows the PKG to meter all types of liquids, including slurries and highly viscous liquids, at speeds up to 2,500 l/h and medium pressures up to 37 bar. An innovative system of common oil for mechanical lubrication and the hydraulic chamber eliminates the risk of oil cross-contamination.

Overview

PRIMEROY K (PKG) is a compact metering pump that guarantees safe, precise and reliable metering of all types of liquids, powered by Milton Roy’s exclusive and patented GSD design. GSD technology ensures safe and trouble-free operation of your metering process through several unique features.

The pump offers triple hydraulic safety. This includes an internal pressure relief valve, a diaphragm that controls the hydraulic filling, as well as protection of the diaphragm itself via a valve that prevents overrun and extrusion for maximum mechanical reliability.

The IMI (Installation Monitoring Indicator) system provides real-time visual alerts for overpressure, cavitation and pulsation problems, helping you avoid inaccurate metering and operational disruptions. In addition, the pump’s unique oil design drastically reduces the footprint, while ensuring that there is no cross-contamination between the mechanical lubrication and the hydraulic chamber.

A completely contour plate-free design, combined with PTFE’s excellent chemical resistance, makes the PKG ideal for injecting a huge range of challenging fluids. PRIMEROY K ensures an accuracy of ± 1% in stable operation over a range from 10 to 100% of nominal flow rate. Primeroy K series part numbers begin with the prefix PKG***. Applications

PRIMEROY K (PKG) is highly versatile and is used in a wide range of critical industrial applications:

  • Water and wastewater treatment (Municipal and industrial): Coagulation/flocculation (injection of ferric chloride, aluminum sulfate, etc.), pH regulation (injection of acids and bases), and water conditioning before and/or after RO treatment in desalination plants. Protection of industrial installations such as boilers and hydraulic systems (corrosion inhibitors, biocides, scale inhibitors, amines).

  • Oil and Gas: Injection of biocides, corrosion and scale inhibitors, and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) scavengers to protect pipeline systems and maintain optimal production rates.

  • Refinery and Downstream: Injection of chemicals for separation and treatment of refined products, injection of paraffin inhibitors into fuel tanks, and transfer of steam condensate.

  • Chemical and petrochemical: Injection of additives, co-catalysts and injection of sulfuric acid into water to produce dilute sulfuric acid.

  • Food industry: Injection of enzymes in starch production and caustic soda for neutralization of process water in refining and distillation plants.
