Industries and Applications
Peripheral pumps are also known as regenerative turbine pumps, a hybrid between positive displacement and centrifugal pumps. Similar to side channel pumps, the working medium is positioned at the periphery, as the name suggests.
The pump curves are steep, while the pumps offer very low NPSH, which is crucial for the pump’s suction performance and duty. The pump can be used for handling liquids or coolants (not gas).
Construction
- Design: Close-coupled peripheral pumps (regenerative turbine pumps) with turbine impellers. Compact, patented design with a single-piece motor housing and pump side wall.
- Protection: Protected against external water ingress into the motor.
- CT: Version with cast iron pump housing.
- B-CT: Version with bronze pump housing (pumps supplied pre-painted).
Applications
- Fluid compatibility: For clean liquids without abrasives, without suspended solids, non-explosive, and non-aggressive to the pumped materials.
- Pressure boosting: Developed to increase pressure in the pipe network (according to local specifications).
- Compact design: Reduced dimensions make these pumps highly suitable for installation in cooling and air conditioning units, equipment, and circulation systems.
- Mechanical seals: The high quality of the installed mechanical seals ensures maximum reliability and durability, as they are not subject to axial movement.
CT – Peripheral pump

T, TP – Peripheral pump

Cast iron (standard) or bronze (B-T/B-TP versions).

Capacity 0.06 to 6 m³/h | Pressure (H): 5 to 165 m.
Power:
0.33 kW to 7.5 kW.
Application:
Clean water supply and pressure boosting in industrial pipe networks.
Temperature:
Handles media from -10 °C to +90 °C.
B-T and B-TP peripheral pump
Material:
Bronze (supplied pre-painted).
Application:
Specially developed for handling saltwater and aggressive water types where standard cast iron is not suitable.
