Water Flow Meter DN 66
Electromagnetic water flow meters can only be used to measure the flow of conductive liquids, and are widely used in water supply, wastewater measurement, industrial chemical measurement, etc. The remote model has a high IP protection rating and can be installed at different locations for the sensor and transmitter. The output signal can be pulse, 4–20 mA or via RS485 communication.
Introduction
Remote water meters provide accurate real-time measurements of water consumption in pipelines, and are specifically designed for installation at a distance from the monitoring point. These systems are crucial for industrial billing, commercial resource management and residential leak detection, enabling rapid repairs to prevent water damage.
By integrating with building automation and water management software, these meters enable efficient tracking and improved reporting across various infrastructures. They are available in sizes from DN 15 to DN 1000 and offer a scalable solution for everything from small branches to large municipal mains.
Features
- Accuracy: Maintains an accuracy of ±0.5% when flow velocity exceeds 1 m/s.
- Reliability: High operational reliability with a reliability of 0.15%.
- Conductivity Requirements: Requires a theoretical minimum of 20 μS/cm for water and 5 μS/cm for other liquids, with a recommended value of ~30 μS/cm for optimal performance.
- Flange Standards: Compatible with ANSI, JIS and DIN flanges from DN15 to 1000.
- Environmental Protection: Has protection rating IP68, making it suitable for continuous submersion.
