Superior performance in remote environments | Solar Chemical Injection Pump - SCIP

The Williams Solar Chemical Injection Pump (SCIP), formerly known as Solaroy®, is a highly efficient direct current (DC) injection pump powered by 12 or 24 VDC. This solar-powered pump was designed from the ground up to handle a wide range of flows and pressures while drawing minimal power. That makes it ideal for remote locations where power availability is limited.

The SCIP is available in Simplex or Duplex configurations depending on your flow requirements, and is easily configured through the Williams app (available for iOS and Android). The solar pump can run continuously at flows from 7.5 to 378 litres per day (2 to 100 GPD) and pressures up to 344.7 bar (5,000 psig). The liquid ends are manufactured in 316 stainless steel with double seals and ceramic plungers for long service life and excellent chemical compatibility.

  • Voltage: 12 or 24 VDC

  • Maximum pressure: Up to 344.7 bar / 5,000 psi (1/4-inch plunger) and 172.4 bar / 2,500 psi (3/8-inch plunger)

  • Maximum flow: 7.5 to 378 l/day (2 to 100 GPD)

  • Material (liquid end): 316 stainless steel with ceramic or SS-17-4ph plunger

  • Configuration: Simplex or Duplex (explosion-proof version optional)

Features

The SCIP Series combines low power consumption with extreme durability for demanding field conditions:

  • Efficient gear system: Single-stage reduction, spur gears and an integrated cam.

  • Flexible stroke length: Three cam-based stroke length sizes: 0.30 inches, 0.45 inches and 0.60 inches.

  • Leak-free construction: Proven double-seal design. No packing that requires manual re-adjustment.

  • Pump heads: Available with Simplex and Duplex pump heads. Explosion-proof version optional.

  • Plunger sizes and pressures: 1/4 inch (up to 5,000 psi / 344.7 bar) and 3/8 inch (up to 2,500 psi / 172.4 bar).

  • Easy maintenance: Oil bath lubrication in the gearbox for long service life, plus a self-contained, quick-change liquid end in 316 stainless steel.

  • Plunger materials: SS-17-4ph stainless steel (standard) or ceramic (optional).

  • Precision and power: Guided crosshead and seal. Powered by 12 or 24 VDC.

  • Approvals: UL and CSA approved.
