Rotary isolation valves

Isolation or shut-off valves are those designed to interrupt flow in a system by means of a mechanically controlled closing element.

Rotary isolating valves are equipped with a 90º stem turn as full stroke. Open and close movements are fast, they are usually used for currents. 

The operating device is usually a handle. Supplied with electric or mechanical actuator. 

Isolation or shut-off valves

Designed to interrupt the current in a system by means of a mechanically controlled closing element. Linear isolating valves are characterized by the movement of the stem which controls the closing element downwards to close the valve and upwards to open it.

Check valves

The check valves are those that are activated by the pressure of the fluid itself and allow it to pass through and prevent it from returning to the part under pressure when the system pressure ceases. Rubber compensator

The rubber compensators are intended for movement in corrosive and/or abrasive applications.

Used, for example, in connection between pump and pipe installation to relieve the pump from pipe stresses, reduce vibrations, compensate for thermal movements in the pipe system.

The compensator Toraflex is made of a rubber material with rotatable steel flanges according to DIN PN10 / 16 to facilitate installation. As an optional extra, the rubber compensator can be supplied with a length limitation.

The air vents are a very important element.

Its task is to handle air, it is necessary to release air in the pipeline filling process and introduce air in case of drainage or negative pressure to avoid pipe collapse. It is also important to release the air pockets that can be produced under pressure during working conditions. The unwanted presence of air involves several problems such as hydraulic transients (which can cause pipe bursts), head loss and reduced flow, energy consumption, corrosion. The air valves are automatic devices, depending on the function, they can be single functions (air release valves), two function valves (air / vacuum valves) which empty air in the filling process and allow the introduction of air in the emptying or three function air valves (combined air valves) which in addition to air- / the vacuum valves include the air release function. Other special functions such as rapid filling prevention or anti-sludge are also important to avoid hammer.

Pressure reducing valve

The CSA model XLC 310/410 is a global pattern hydraulically operated automatic control valve that reduces and stabilizes downstream pressure to a constant value, regardless of variation in demand and upstream pressure conditions.

The product is a motorized quarter turn actuator. The actuator is designed for DC or AC operating voltages. A manual override and an optical position indicator are integrated as standard. The torque in the end positions is increased. This enables a closing curve adapted to the valves.

Information about valves:

– Sluice valves

Used for all applications, the valve is used either fully closed or open, never used as a control valve. When it is fully open, it leads to minimal pressure loss.

Area of use: water, waste water and general neutral liquids. 

– Butterfly valves (butterfly valves)

Has a cone that closes against a set (metallic seal/soft seal). This leads to a narrow run, i.e. large flow loss through valves.

– Shut-off valves

Valves that only have the purpose of shutting off a flow. The valves have a flow direction, but allow the media to flow back. Shut-off valves have a metal or soft-sealing seat

– Non-return valves
