Problems In certain cases, contaminated water or other liquids can flow from a tap back into the internal pipe network in the building, or out into the public water pipe network.

Functional requirements The tapping point for water at the subscription must be secured so that water or other liquids cannot flow back, either to the property's internal wiring or to the waterworks' wiring.
